Rheem also has two manufacturing facilities in Mexico, one in Nuevo Laredo and one in Mexicali. All manufacturing facilities are ISO 9001 certified.

In 1987, Rheem became a wholly owned subsidiary of Paloma Industries of Nagoya, Japan, the world's largest producer of gas appliances.
